Nba Wagering "" 2010-2011 Washington Wizards Preview

in Wall
The Wizards were a negative team to take last year in NBA wagering. There was nothing to love about Washington in terms of NBA basketball wagering a year ago. That is not the situation this year, though, as the Wizards have the probable Rookie of the Year in John Wall and a team that can actually win a couple of games this year.

John Wall has by now made a huge name for himself in ncaa basketball. He's even popularized the "John Wall dance", and folks are flooding Youtube and some other social networking sites with movies of themselves doing the victory dance. He spentsimply one year in ncaa, where he competed for the University of Kentucky for the 2009 year. He decided to abandon 3 years of college eligibility in order to enter the 2010 NBA Draft, where he was promptly snatched up with the 1st overall pick by the Wizards. Reebok has already signed Wall to represent their latest basketball shoe. Right now his biggest concern ought to be living up to the huge superstar position that is building around him before he's scarcely had a chance to play professionally.

Last Season's Record SU 26-56, ATS 35-45-2 ATS - We said previously that the Wizards were awful last year versus the spread at the sportsbook. There was basically nothing to get thrilled about with Washington a season ago. This season ought to be much different.

Projected Starting Lineup
Guard John Wall
Guard Gilbert Arenas
Center Javale McGee
Forward Al Thornton
Forward Andray Blatche

Prediction - The Wizards have top draft pick John Wall and he's cause enough to watch the Wizards this year. He will probably be the best rookie in the league this year and right off the bat he will probably be among the best guards in the league. He is that great. Wall will get most of the press for the Wizards but they do have various other players. Andray Blatche is one more talented young competitor. He was quite great down the stretch last year and ought to be a great scoring option in back of Wall. Not to be overlooked, even though Washington would like to, is Gilbert Arenas. He was hurt early in the year but he can still score and can take the stress off of Wall. Arenas most likely will not be with Washington past this year but he can certainly score and help the Wizards in NBA wagering if he turns up to play every evening. Javale McGee has some prospective at center and Al Thornton is a solid forward. The bench is vulnerable but at least they've got Kirk Hinrich who can come off the sidelines and supply some scoring. The Wizards are hoping that Yi Jianlian can do some thing but so far he has just about been a bust in his NBA career.

The Wizards are going to be a whole lot better in 2010-2011 in NBA NBA wagering. They are quite young nevertheless so they're going to have some ups and downs but the future is bright for Washington with John Wall leading the way.
